Joan kindly let me post a small commercial announcement here, and here it is:

A few of ye olde Trivia Players are putting together a fantasy football league hosted on Yahoo.  Currently five teams have joined so we have room for 7 more.   Any interested parties can email me through my profile here and I'll send details and answer any questions.

Fairly standard FFL scoring, it's all free and for fun.   See you on the field, coaches!

Also, FYI that the league *may* be full -- I'm waiting on one applicant to join and then there's a 12th player in line.  We also have a 'first alternate' waiting in the wings.

The "TriviaBall 2009" league is now full, and we have one first alternate coach-in-waiting (sorry, Sej).   Thanks to everyone who showed interest, and thanks to Joan for the board plug.

If anyone missed out, I encourage you to set up another league -- it seems quite a few trivia players enjoy FFL and even play in multiple leagues.  You know they're a fun bunch, and the smack talk will be incredibly trivial!

Years ago, Gummie talked me into joining one with him. I had no clue what it was or what I was doing.  I created it and never looked again.

I won the season, and he never asked me to join again   LOL
